Staying Focused on What Matters:

It’s not about what happens to us but how we focus our energy that shapes our lives and farms.
My goal here is to help us all build better lives on our homesteads and support each other in the process.

Sunday Reflections:

Yesterday was all about creating a home where we love to be—a place of learning and peace.
Prayer plays a big part in that for me, and with Tamera being a librarian, our home is packed with books, making it the perfect place for growth.

Building a Loving Home:

I’m working hard to make our homestead a place filled with love and care, where family and friends feel welcome.
It’s not always easy, but it’s something I’m committed to every day.

A Little Motivation:

I’ve been reminding myself of a phrase from John M. Huntsman Sr.: "Jesus and I can accomplish anything. Never forget, God didn’t put us here to fail."
It’s a powerful thought that keeps me going, and I hope it inspires you too.

Connecting with Community:

I had a great time at church yesterday, helping my Spanish-speaking friends and just enjoying being with others.
Homesteading can be isolating, but staying connected to a community, even virtually, is so important.

Today’s Plans and Homestead Goals:

Today, I’m focusing on some work tasks and paying bills, but the ultimate goal is to make this homestead profitable so I can be here full-time.
That’s the dream, and I’m working towards it every day.
