Today, I’m excited to share the launch of a blog to go along with our Everyday Stories on Our Homestead vlog! By adding a blog, I aim to expand our reach through search engine optimization, making it easier for people to find this content and benefit from it. This blog lets me share more detailed content, so even if folks don’t have time to watch the vlog, they can still catch up on the highlights. Plus, it offers a space for deeper audience engagement, more sharing options, and ways to help fund the homestead. I’m keeping in mind that "perfect is the enemy of done," so while I’m getting things rolling, we’ll keep adjusting along the way. This is just the beginning, and I’m thrilled to have you along for the ride as we grow our community and homesteading knowledge together.

You can tell I am way behind on my publishing. I created this podcast episode a long, long time ago, but have been catching up on publishing the blog for quite some time.

Supporting the Homestead:

The goal is to build a profitable homestead, which lets us serve at our best.
As Zig Ziglar says, when we help people get what they want, we get what we want—creating a positive cycle of service and support.
With the blog, there are new options to provide value and support homesteading efforts.

Right now, I’m in “ready, fire, aim” mode—getting things started and fine-tuning as we go.
I’ll be posting show notes, useful links, and transferring current vlog content to the blog.
I’m working toward setting up a newsletter too, so stay tuned for that!

Inspired by the concept that “perfect is the enemy of done”—the idea is to start moving and adjust along the way.
Just like a missile constantly readjusts its course to hit a moving target, we can find our way to success by staying in motion and making adjustments.
